A leading UK-based construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their growing Industrial, Logistics and Manufacturing team based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and technically strong Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in delivering large-scale infrastructure and vertical build projects across the UK.

The Quantity Surveyor

The successful Quantity Surveyor will be degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related technical discipline and hold MRICS status. You will have demonstrable Quantity Surveyor experience delivering similar industrial and logistics schemes from inception through to completion, with strong pre-construction, estimating, and cost planning skills.

Key requirements for the Quantity Surveyor
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar
  • Chartered status (MRICS)
  • Experience in Industrial, Logistics or Manufacturing projects
  • Knowledge of both JCT and NEC forms of contract
  • Strong technical delivery and stakeholder communication skills
  • Ability to lead on cost planning, estimation and commercial reporting
