Job summary

Fawkes & Reece London is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join the team in Bath. The role involves pricing projects and subsequently managing them on site alongside a Contracts Manager in a busy main contractor environment.

You will handle sub-contract procurement, on-site sub-contractor accounts and variations, and final accounts, with a construction-related HNC or degree and valid UK work rights.

Qualifications

• Construction related HNC or Degree required.
• Experience with main contractor environment.
• Experience administering JCT forms of contract.

Quantity Surveyor

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor to join an up and coming main contractor based in Bath. The business specialises in the commercial fit-out sector and operates nationally. Projects are a mix of Cat A and B and value up to £5mil.

The business is now in a position where they're looking to expand the team, and are therefore now looking to bring a Quantity Surveyor into the team.

About the role of Quantity Surveyor

As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for pricing projects and subsequently going on to manage them on site, alongside a Contracts Manager.

Key Responsibilities as Quantity Surveyor

• Sub-contract procurement
• Manage sub-contractors accounts on site, dealing with variations
• Deal with final accounts

Key requirements for this Quantity Surveyor role

• Construction related HNC / Degree
• Experience working within a main contractor
• Experience administering JCT forms of contract
• Must live within a commutable distance to Oxford and have the full right to work in the UK
