Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
  • Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage variations
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure financial control
  • Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating where appropriate
  • Produce regular cost reports and maintain accurate records of expenditure
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards
  • Support project delivery within live healthcare settings, ensuring minimal disruption
Essential Qualifications
  • Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
  • Proven experience in construction project cost management
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
  • Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office • Prevous experince as a quantity surveyor.
Desirable Experience
  • Previous experience in healthcare construction projects
  • Knowledge of NHS or similar healthcare compliance standards
  • Experience with risk management and value engineering in construction projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
