A leading healthcare construction company is seeking a qualified and experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare infrastructure projects. This role involves managing project costs, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring commercial compliance throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong construction background and experience working within complex healthcare environments.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation
- Monitor project budgets, forecast costs, and manage variations
- Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure financial control
- Assess subcontractor and supplier quotations, negotiating where appropriate
- Produce regular cost reports and maintain accurate records of expenditure
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, company policies, and industry standards
- Support project delivery within live healthcare settings, ensuring minimal disruption
Essential Qualifications
- Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field
- Proven experience in construction project cost management
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement processes
- Proficient in cost management software and Microsoft Office • Prevous experince as a quantity surveyor.
Desirable Experience
- Previous experience in healthcare construction projects
- Knowledge of NHS or similar healthcare compliance standards
- Experience with risk management and value engineering in construction projects
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
