J.P. Morgan's QTR unit seeks an Associate/VP to tackle technically complex problems, from leveraging LLMs to building ML applications with large datasets on the firm’s Cloud.

You will partner with the business to identify critical pain points and iterate toward practical, quantitative solutions that drive revenue growth and efficiency within the CIB. Formación

• Advanced degree (PhD or MS) or equivalent in a quantitative field: Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc
• Robust understanding of Machine Learning, Statistics, and Mathematics, both fundamentals and applications
• Experience in tackling real world data science problems, end-to-end from prototype to production, using Python
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to present findings to a non-technical audience
• Passion for learning, sharing knowledge, building collaborations, and getting things done

Responsabilidades

• Work with business leads to develop AI/ML-driven analytics and automation to support business goals
• Build scalable data architecture to handle large transaction data volumes
• Automate manual processes and create tools to optimize decision making and deposit management
• Develop sequential decision making tools to optimize net interest income under liquidity/capital constraints
• Drive projects end-to-end from brainstorming to model development
• Present real-world quantitative recommendations to stakeholders
• Communicate insights using data visualization to aid business decisions and strategy
