Job summary

Maisha Mazuri collaborates with London-based trading firms to identify talented systematic traders for exciting opportunities in high‑performance environments. We seek individuals with a proven track record in intra‑day trading and strong Python skills to support research, automation, and strategy development.

Candidates with C++ knowledge are welcome. The role offers exposure to Equity/Index Options, ETFs, or Futures, and a path to join either a newly formed or existing high‑caliber trading

Qualifications

• At least 3 years in your asset class/focus market with intra‑day trading experience.
• Strong command of Python for research and automation; C++ is advantageous.
• Excellent problem solving skills.

We have partnered with a range of Trading Firms and Hedge Funds of different sizes looking for new talent. Our partner firms range from small to enterprise sized businesses (between 15-1000 FTE) undertaking both HFT and MFT in both traditional markets and the digital asset space.

In London, our partners have the following types of opportunities:

• Setting up a new trading team with an industry leading proprietary trading firm;
• Joining an existing team looking for an experienced trader with a fresh perspective.

Requirements

Our Systematic Trader mandates require the following skillsets:

• A proven track‑record (at least 3 years) in your given asset class/focus market (experience with intra‑day trading in any market concentrated on either Equity/Index Options, ETFs, or Futures is most relevant for our partners);
• A strong command of Python for research and automation purposes (C++ is advantageous);
• Excellent problem solving skills;
