Venture Up partners with a highly innovative hedge fund in Oxford to recruit a Quantitative Researcher for Equity Mid/High Frequency Trading. You will research large-scale datasets, develop predictive signals, and collaborate with leading researchers and engineers in a cutting-edge environment.

The role requires an advanced degree in a quantitative field, 2+ years in market making or high-frequency trading, strong Python skills, and a rigorous approach to statistics and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science or a related quantitative discipline.
• 2+ years' experience in Market Making, High-Frequency Trading, or a similar quantitative trading environment.
• Strong Python skills, including data analysis, modelling, and machine learning.
• Deep understanding of statistical research and inference using large datasets.
• Curious, analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.
