Aquatic Capital in the United Kingdom is seeking a Quantitative Research Intern to collaborate with a team, developing and implementing trading signals, models, and strategies.

The role offers exposure to rigorous statistical methodologies, design and evaluation of research systems components, and opportunities to accelerate your expertise in quantitative finance.

Active students pursuing BS/MS/PhD with graduation dates between Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Active student pursuing BS, MS, or PhD with expected graduation Fall 2027 to Spring 2028.
• Proficiency in quantitative analysis and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience tackling data-intensive challenges; statistical research preferred.
• Prior trading experience is a plus.
• Participation in mathematical competitions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quantitative trading signals, models, and strategies.
