Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is recruiting a Quantitative Analyst / Quantitative Research Analyst for a Hampshire-based, remote-hybrid role. The position offers 1-2 days onsite per week and a chance to join a new product team applying quantitative thinking to non-financial problems.

You will work with complex datasets, build models and data-driven decision frameworks, and contribute to shaping an entirely new analytical capability across the business.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background in a highly quantitative subject (Maths/Statistics/Economics/Finance/Engineering).
• Experience in quantitative modelling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build and refine quantitative models and decision-support frameworks.
• Combine complex datasets to identify patterns, trends and opportunities.
• Develop approaches to ranking, weighting and interpreting data.
• Use Python, R, SQL and Excel for analysis and modelling.
• Help shape a completely new analytical capability within the business.
