Job summary

Coolabah Capital Investments, based in London, is seeking a highly quantitative trader for the portfolio management team. The role reports to the US and European Head of Trading and is a permanent, full-time position with a mandatory in-office presence five days a week.

The successful candidate will generate alpha in fixed income, perform deep quantitative analysis, and support risk management and portfolio reporting.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in credit markets.
• Background in Financials advantageous but not essential.
• Strong quantitative modelling capabilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Idea generation for actionable alpha across fixed-income.
• Deep quantitative analysis of investment opportunities.
• Trade implementation across OTC cash, derivatives and listed domains.
• Portfolio reporting and risk management.
• Contributions to the investment team.
