Man Group in London is seeking a Junior Quantitative Researcher to join the Quant Talent Programme. You will participate in three 6‑month rotations across alpha research, portfolio construction, execution research and risk management, collaborating with diverse teams to advance the firm's systematic strategies.

The role includes a formal training programme and mentorship, emphasizing rigorous quantitative methods and a collaborative culture that supports professional growth.

Qualifications

• Strong mathematical and statistical foundations relevant to financial data
• Independent research experience in quantitative domains
• Desire to learn structure and drivers of returns in financial markets
• Interest in algorithmic trading and financial derivatives

Responsibilities

• Research, develop and implement quantitative trading strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-team groups to advance AHL's research agenda.
• Follow academic and industry literature to identify innovations and opportunities.
• Apply quantitative techniques to large datasets and expand areas of expertise.
• Interact with other research teams to support the business's research effort.
