Job summary

UBS is seeking ambitious students for its 2027 Quant Off-Cycle Internship Program. You will research, test and implement derivatives, optimization, and inventory prediction models, collaborating with trading desks and control functions to provide quantitative support.

You’ll work across asset classes and with Front Office stakeholders to enhance pricing capabilities, ensuring applications and models are rigorously tested.

Qualifications

• Penultimate or final year of degree, or recently graduated within six months of starting the internship.
• Has or is on track for a 2.1 (UK) in their first undergraduate degree.
• Strong background in a quantitative discipline (math, science, engineering).
• Familiar with quantitative finance, derivatives modelling, pricing or ML techniques.
• Familiar with financial markets and products.
• Clear and effective communication skills, especially when explaining complex ideas.
• Strong programming and algorithmic skills.
• Ability to evidence responsible use of AI to improve outcomes and efficiency.

Responsibilities
