Job summary

Encord seeks a Quant Developer to join the Foundations team in London. You will build fast, correct data pipelines handling massive robotics data, 3D scenes, videos and ML inference, ensuring performance under load.

Applicants should have 1–5+ years building scalable systems, and be fluent in Python or Typescript with experience in Rust/C++/Java/Golang. Office-based role with strong learning culture and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Formal CS degree or equivalent for solid fundamentals.
• Fluency in Python or Typescript with strong systems thinking.
• Experience with high-performance, data-intensive systems is valued.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and own data systems processing petabytes of robotics data.
• Develop robust distributed systems and reason about failure modes.
• Contribute to high-performing team with clear, maintainable code.
