Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Quality Technician to join our client’s manufacturing team in Droitwich. You will provide hands-on technical quality support across inspection, problem-solving and continuous improvement, ensuring products meet engineering and quality requirements.

You will work closely with production and engineering to investigate issues, implement corrective actions and maintain high standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a quality role within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and dimensional inspection.
• Good knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
• Experience with root cause analysis, corrective actions and non-conformance processes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out dimensional inspection and testing of components, materials and finished products
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications and GD&T to assess product conformity
• Use a range of precision measurement equipment, including CMM, FARO arms
• Investigate quality issues and support root cause analysis, non-conformance and corrective action activities
• Support calibration, auditing and compliance activities in line with ISO 9001 requirements
