Job description

Quality Technician / Inspector (Shifts)

Location: Hengoed, South Wales

Salary: £26,000 - £27,500 per year

Principle Accountabilities

• The role will initially largely revolve around learning the new product and quality control measures required for this product introduction. The role will thereafter rotate between different product areas.
• Maintain quality requirements through ensuring all production is to the standard of the customer drawings and internal instructions.
• Audit product quality on shop floor.
• Ensure all Quality paperwork and samples are present and signed off by relevant parties.
• Complete hourly, 2 hourly or any specific timed visual, fit and dimensional checks on all components and record results for production, sample parts and processes.

Background and Qualifications

A background in quality will be needed for this role. CMM experience is preferred but not mandatory. Preferred is a background in injection moulding however this is not mandatory. As a minimum; attention to detail, communication skills, work with numbers and computers.
