Job summary

g2 Recruitment's client is seeking an experienced freelance Site Quality Technician for utility-scale PV projects. The role involves field surveillance, verification of processes and tracking of components/materials, with documentation support on site.

The position is a 12-month initial contract, full-time hours, and regular onsite work in the Midlands. You must have PV construction experience, be able to interpret technical drawings, and be eligible to work as a UK freelancer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in large-scale PV construction (ideally at least 70MW), particularly in quality roles.
• Strong ability to interpret technical specs and drawings.
• Must be able to speak English to a professional level.
• Successful applicants will require two references and must be able to work as a freelancer in the UK.

As the External Site Quality Technician, you will be required to undertake Field Surveillance, verification of processes, ensure all components and materials are correctly identified and tracked, and provide documentation support.
