You'll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, using your metrology and inspection skills to maintain product integrity, patient safety, and compliance with ISO 13485 standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Using metrology equipment and hand tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify critical dimensions
  • Supporting timely product releases with accurate inspection records and documentation
  • Conducting in-process and final checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications
  • Preparing approved products for dispatch, ensuring they are safe and compliant
  • Identifying and escalating quality concerns early, preventing defects from reaching customers
  • Maintaining inspection readiness by keeping records accurate and up to date
  • Contributing to improvements in inspection methods, tooling, and documentation
Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with metrology and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
  • Experience inspecting moulded plastic parts and consumable products
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 or cGMP a plus)
  • Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and carrying out quality inspections
  • A proactive mindset - confident speaking up when something looks off
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and inspection techniques
  • Familiarity with stock control and quality documentation
  • Confidence using QMS tools and systems
