A leading recruitment firm is seeking a Quality Assistant for the Joint Design Office at Hinkley Point C. This entry-level position focuses on supporting Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities. Day Rate Up to a maximum of: £275 p/d PAYE + 36 days annual leave // £370 p/d Umbrella
The Quality Assistant supports the implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) activities within the Joint Design Office (JDO). This entry-level role is ideal for someone with foundational experience in quality practices and a keen interest in developing their skills in a regulated engineering environment. The role contributes to maintaining compliance with internal standards and supports continuous improvement initiatives across the JDO.
The JDO is a site-based engineering organisation integrating Responsible Designer (RD) and third-tier designers to resolve site-based design issues. The Quality Assistant works within this collaborative structure, supporting the Quality and Improvement Manager and engaging with various JDO branches to help ensure quality processes are followed and documented appropriately.
