Job summary

A regional healthcare provider in Basildon is seeking a Quality Monitoring Officer to maintain high cleaning standards across hospital sites. Qualifications

Quality Monitoring Officer

Are you passionate about maintaining high standards of cleanliness and improving patient experience? Join our Estates and Facilities Management team as an Environmental Quality Monitoring Officer. You'll play a key role in monitoring cleaning standards across our hospital sites (Basildon, Broomfield, Southend), ensuring services meet agreed specifications and key performance indicators. Working closely with colleagues and service providers, you'll help drive improvements, support audits, and contribute to a safe, welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors.

Main duties of the job
  • Monitor and record cleaning standards across hospital sites.
  • Identify and report issues, recommending improvements.
  • Produce audit reports and attend review meetings.
  • Support the audit programme and quality assurance activities.
  • Liaise with service providers, managers, and clinical staff.
  • Assist with investigations into complaints and service errors.
  • Use IT systems to record and analyse data.
  • Travel between sites as required.
