Job summary

McLaren Automotive Limited in Woking seeks a Quality Manager – Validation & Inspection to lead end-to-end quality inspection across Body Assembly, Surface Finish and General Assembly validation. You will guide the inspection team, ensuring products meet rigorous McLaren specifications and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing.

You will manage the Level Zero landscape, optimise resources, resolve issues swiftly, and champion a culture of data-driven quality metrics to enhance product

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field.
• Significant experience in quality management within manufacturing, ideally automotive.
• Professional quality certification (e.g., ASQ CMQ/OE) desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quality inspection activities across Body Assembly, Surface Finish, and General Assembly build validation.
• Lead the inspection team to ensure products meet McLaren’s quality standards and specifications.
• Develop, manage and improve McLaren’s quality processes and standards.
• Lead improvements in quality metrics and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align quality objectives with business goals.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for Level Zero landscape management.
