Job description

Our clients based close to Winchester have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join their growing team.

Reporting to the UK Operations Manager and being part of the UK senior management team of the organisation, the quality manager will lead all quality, HSE, environment & CSR activities for the company.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by pro-actively driving improvement in the business to bring greater efficiency, minimise product ppm levels and internal waste.
  • Management of the quality system to ISO 9001:2015 & ISO14001:2015.
  • Team management of quality engineers and technicians at two sites.
  • Overall responsibility for Health and Safety at both sites, including compliance to all relevant legislation.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by a close follow up of field non-conformance, and corrective action implementation.
  • Improving the supply base of the company, via audit, further KPI implementation and feedback mechanisms to improve efficiency and quality of supplied product.
  • Interfacing with international companies in the group quality teams, to ensure consistency of approach and processes, with occasional international travel accordingly.
  • Setting a standard and enhancing quality culture within all aspects of the business, leading by example.
  • Driving the UK environmental and strategy and actions, to minimise waste, utility usage and carbon footprint.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Quality Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience leading a quality team.
  • A working knowledge of implementing and improving quality tools.
  • Auditing experience.

Working hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm
