The Opportunity

Are you a results‑driven Quality Manager with a passion for precision, process excellence, and world‑class manufacturing standards? As Quality Manager, you’ll report to the Group Head of Quality and lead the site’s production quality function – driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with demanding customer and industry standards, and inspiring a culture of operational excellence across the business. You’ll play a key role in shaping quality strategy, managing audits, and working cross‑functionally with engineering, production, and leadership teams to maintain the highest levels of product integrity and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop the Quality team to deliver robust systems, procedures, and performance.
  • Manage and maintain certifications including IATF 16949 and AS9100.
  • Act as the primary contact for customer and third‑party audits.
  • Drive problem‑solving and root cause analysis to eliminate defects and prevent recurrence.
  • Partner with engineering and operations to embed quality at every stage of production.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Analyse data, report KPIs, and provide insight to support strategic decision‑making.
About You
  • Experienced Quality professional with a background in automotive, aerospace, or precision engineering.
  • Strong understanding of IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO9001 and other customer‑specific requirements.
  • Skilled in leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands‑on approach with the ability to influence and drive change.
  • Confident managing audits, developing teams, and leading quality improvement programmes.
  • Solid knowledge of APQP and associated manufacturing quality tools.
