Job description

1to1 group are recruiting for a Quality Manager for one of our clients in Winchester. The goal of this position is to ensure customer satisfaction by pro-actively driving improvement in the business to bring greater efficiency and minimise internal waste.

Role Details
  • Competitive salary DOE.
  • Winchester.
  • Full-time, Monday to Friday.
  • Permanent.
Role Responsibilities
  • Management of the quality system to ISO 9001 & ISO14001
  • Team management of quality engineers and technicians.
  • Overall responsibility for Health and Safety, including compliance to all relevant legislation.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction by a close follow up of field non-conformance, and corrective action implementation through direct customer contact.
  • Improving the supply base of the company, via audit, further KPI implementation and feedback mechanisms to improve efficiency and quality of supplied product.
  • Minimising waste, utility usage and carbon footprint.
  • Data collection and analysis, including software processing skills and graphical presentation.
Role Requirements
  • A proven track record in quality management.
  • A working knowledge of implementing and improving quality tools.
  • An ability to engage with colleagues at all levels of the business and obtain the necessary outcomes.
  • Able to work with internal and external stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
  • HNC or higher in mechanical or electro-mechanical engineering.
  • A relevant managerial qualification.
  • A working knowledge or education in electronics would be considered an advantage.
  • Demonstrable experience of quality tool deployment and use, such as six sigma, FMEA, risk analysis, lean manufacturing, APQP, PPAP and SPC are also necessary.
