Quality Assurance Manager

A leading organisation is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and strengthen the daily operations of its quality function. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all products and processes consistently meet required standards and business objectives. This is a unique opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead the quality function and make a significant impact on the organisation’s commitment to quality standards.

What you will be doing:
  • The successful candidate will take overall ownership of the company’s quality management system and related documentation, coordinating and allocating tasks across the quality team. They will ensure that delivered products and components conform to design requirements while supporting business compliance with external approvals and customer expectations.
  • Key responsibilities include supervising quality activities, guiding root cause analysis for product and process issues, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The role also involves ensuring thorough quality audits are conducted, maintaining key quality metrics, and supporting the development and training of the team to enhance overall competencies.
Your background:
  • British Citizen or ability to gain SC Clearance
  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of applying professional knowledge to drive quality improvements, with extensive experience in quality engineering practices, first article inspections, and performance assessments. They will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritise in a dynamic environment. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential to manage the team and achieve quality objectives effectively.
  • Candidates should ideally hold a degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and work experience, enabling them to meet the expectations of the role and drive continued excellence in quality performance.
