Day-to-Day of the Role
- Develop and manage the Quality Assurance program, ensuring laboratory and plant analysis provide reliable results that guide production and product quality.
- Implement and manage quality and food safety programs to ensure compliance, manage daily parameters, and communicate compliance statuses.
- Lead the site Non-Conformance program, managing processes and aligning cost of non-conformance programs.
- Support budget and capex proficiency, ensuring all operational budgets are within target and all Capex projects are planned and managed appropriately.
- Data management for all laboratory/QA records to ensure retrieval and traceability.
- Lead quality improvement projects in collaboration with operations, using science-based problem-solving techniques.
- Support the operationalisation of the Quality Pillar program through training and quality control activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers from a quality perspective and support site investigations into complaints and non-conformances.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Degree in a science-related field.
- Lead auditor qualification (GFSI) and HACCP Level 3.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality and Food Safety Systems Management.
- Proficient in MS Office and strong decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory and legal requirements.
- Problem-solving capability (ideally minimum Green Belt 6 Sigma training).
