Job description
Day-to-Day of the Role
  • Develop and manage the Quality Assurance program, ensuring laboratory and plant analysis provide reliable results that guide production and product quality.
  • Implement and manage quality and food safety programs to ensure compliance, manage daily parameters, and communicate compliance statuses.
  • Lead the site Non-Conformance program, managing processes and aligning cost of non-conformance programs.
  • Support budget and capex proficiency, ensuring all operational budgets are within target and all Capex projects are planned and managed appropriately.
  • Data management for all laboratory/QA records to ensure retrieval and traceability.
  • Lead quality improvement projects in collaboration with operations, using science-based problem-solving techniques.
  • Support the operationalisation of the Quality Pillar program through training and quality control activities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers from a quality perspective and support site investigations into complaints and non-conformances.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Degree in a science-related field.
  • Lead auditor qualification (GFSI) and HACCP Level 3.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Quality and Food Safety Systems Management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with a strong understanding of regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Problem-solving capability (ideally minimum Green Belt 6 Sigma training).
