Salary: £70,000-£75,000

A manufacturing organisation in Marden is seeking a Quality Manager to lead quality systems, drive LEAN improvement, and strengthen product and service performance.

Role Overview

You will manage all quality activity across production and the supply chain, ensuring high standards, reducing non‑conformance, and improving customer satisfaction. The role requires strong use of LEAN tools, internal auditing, problem‑solving methodologies, and cross‑functional leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement quality controls, policies and standards
  • Use customer feedback to inform improvements
  • Monitor quality performance and reporting
  • Lead internal audits and ensure audit readiness
  • Guide teams to embed quality processes
  • Maintain supplier quality compliance

Skills & Experience
  • Engineering degree (preferred)
  • CQI professional status (desirable)
  • Six Sigma Black Belt (preferred)
  • 5+ years in manufacturing
  • 5+ years in quality management
  • ISO 9001:2015 Senior Auditor
  • Experience managing non‑conformance
  • Skilled in LEAN, 5S, VSM, LPMS, 8D, DMAIC, FAI, A3
  • Strong change‑management and project delivery capability
  • Ability to produce proactive, improvement‑focused reporting
