Overview

A large food manufacturer are seeking an experienced Quality Manager. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, you'll be at the heart of ensuring product safety and quality while contributing to the success of a leading food business.

Shift

Shift Pattern- 4 on 4 off-05:30 - 18:00.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the QA team to ensure product quality, safety, and legality, meeting customer specifications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of Quality Auditors to ensure continuous development.
  • Collaborate closely with production, engineering, HR, and hygiene teams to maintain seamless operations.
  • Ensure procedures within the Quality Management System, HACCP, and Food Defence are adhered to across the factory.
  • Investigate technical customer complaints, coordinate findings, and implement effective action plans.
  • Manage external service providers such as pest control and laboratories while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
What You Will Bring
  • Relevant scientific or food-related qualifications, with extensive experience working within a Quality or Technical team.
  • A practical understanding of BRC standards and retailer requirements.
  • Experience working with major retailers, including leading audits.
  • HACCP and Food Safety qualifications, alongside internal auditing training.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
