Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement and maintain quality assurance frameworks and procedures aligned with regulatory bodies and best practice in education.
  • Monitor and evaluate the delivery of education programmes to ensure compliance with Ofsted and relevant awarding organisations’ standards.
  • Lead internal audits and prepare for external inspections, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with curriculum teams and management to promote continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and assessment.
  • Provide training and support to staff on quality standards, compliance, and performance monitoring.
  • Analyse feedback from learners, educators, and stakeholders to inform quality enhancement strategies.
  • Report regularly to senior management on quality metrics, risks, and progress against objectives.
  • Stay abreast of developments in education policy, quality assurance, and regulatory requirements to ensure organisational compliance.

Salary: £42,500 to £50,600 per annum (FTE)

Role Overview

As Quality Manager, you will lead and develop quality assurance initiatives across our education and teaching services. You will ensure that all programmes and processes meet regulatory requirements and internal standards, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional passionate about education quality and compliance, who enjoys working collaboratively in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Proven experience in a quality management or quality assurance role within the education sector, preferably further education or vocational training.
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks, awarding organisation requirements, and relevant education legislation.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, and quality reviews.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, quality management, or related disciplines are desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing priorities effectively in a part-time capacity.
