Quality Manager / QHSE Manager, £60K - £65K, Commutable from Leicester, Derby, Nottingham

• Successful and profitable product development and manufacturing organisation, part of a global group with sites in the UK, USA, and Far East.
• £60K - £65K salary guide + bonus + pension + family private medical insurance + 25 days holiday and all bank holidays.

This Quality Manager job / QHSE Manager job is 90-95% focused on quality management, 5%-10% health, safety, and environmental management so could suit a Quality Manager or QHSE Manager or Quality, Health, and Safety Manager with a manufacturing or engineering background.

Your background as a Quality Manager / QHSE Manager:

• You will have previously worked in a Quality Manager, Quality, Health, and Safety Manager, QHSE Manager role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge and experience of ISO9001 quality management, additional experience of ISO14001 is advantageous.
• We are looking for a Quality Manager that can understand the ethos, culture and values of a SME UK manufacturing business and drive QHSE (specifically quality management) to align with the business, not the other way around.
• A strong focus on building strong internal and external relationships (customers, supplier, internal engineering, manufacturing & supply chain teams) and taking ownership of driving quality management best practice throughout the business.

Quality Manager / QHSE Manager responsibilities:

• Take ownership and lead on Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental strategies, processes, policies, and procedures (ISO9001, 14001 and specific industry standards) –
• 90%-95% focus on quality management with a strong focus on supplier, manufacturing, and customer quality.
• Leadership and ongoing development of small team (3 people – Quality Engineer and Quality Technicians).
• Develop strong working relationships with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to influence quality management best practice throughout the business.
