Overview

The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring services comply with customer, stakeholder, and regulatory requirements by planning and implementing the NHSPS Quality Policy. The role involves designing, maintaining, and improving a quality management system across estate strategy development, implementation, and management services. They promote understanding and adoption of the policy among colleagues, supports the transformation of the NHS estate, and oversees quality assurance and control measures in collaboration with other teams to deliver better estates, brilliant service, and unlock value.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and document a system for quality assurance processes and control.
  • Implement the quality policy and initiatives to meet with the customer and other stakeholders and regulatory requirements.
  • Coach the quality champions to ensure the implementation of the quality policy and procedures.
  • Cultivate a "Quality Culture" designing and implementing quality management processes, maintaining and improving the quality system, and ensuring compliance with customer and stakeholder requirements.
  • Establish quality control procedures to verify that services meet quality requirements.
  • Ensure effective and compliant quality management by monitoring processes, leveraging advancements in tools, and implementing solutions to enhance service practices and overall performance.
  • Liaise with internal colleagues to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Maintain up-to-date and current with all relevant quality management, legislation and protocols.
