Job description

Overview

One of our key clients is currently looking for a Quality Manager or a Senior Quality Engineer to join their team. The main responsibility would be to maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and industry-specific standards (e.g. 16949, AS9100).

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and industry-specific standards (e.g. 16949, AS9100).
• Lead internal and external audits, including customer and certification body audits.
• Ensure document control and records management are effective and up to date.
• Oversee quality control procedures, including incoming raw materials, in-process checks, and final product inspection.
• Collaborate with production and technical teams to ensure quality is built into processes from the start.
• Manage non-conformance investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Drive root cause analysis and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives using tools such as Six Sigma, FMEA, SPC, and 8D.
• Monitor and report on key quality KPIs and trends.
• Interface with customers on quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Conduct supplier audits (if required) and manage supplier quality performance.
• Train staff on procedures, quality tools, and standards and promote a culture of quality throughout the organisation.
