Job summary

Profiles Personnel is seeking a hands-on Machine Operative in the East Midlands region. The role focuses on producing high-quality products with thorough attention to detail and strong workmanship. Training will be provided, and it is starting on a temporary basis with a view to permanent employment.

The position operates Monday to Friday, with a starting pay of £14.24 per hour. The ideal candidate will have manufacturing experience, be able to lift up to 15–20 kg, stand all day, and work well

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to work in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality and accuracy.

• Adherence to health and safety guidelines on site.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Pack products accurately using correct weights and materials.
• Support quality audits, defect identification & corrective actions.
• Work closely with production and quality teams.
• Maintain a clean, organised 5S working environment.
• Communicate effectively across shifts.
