Job summary

Roche is seeking an Associate Quality Lead in Welwyn to shape the future of quality management within our Pharma Development Quality (PDQ) function. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or quality-related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech/medical device with GMP/GxP awareness (GCP, GVP, MDR).
• Strong digital and data literacy to translate data into quality insights.
• Excellent organisational and execution skills with proactive ownership.
• Developing expertise in CtQ factors and functional group operations.
• Fluent written and spoken English with strong presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support execution and tracking of risk-based quality management strategies across the PDQ portfolio.
• Execute activities to assess QA status and generate confidence in end-to-end systems.
• Enhance data collection procedures, perform analyses, and deliver insights for regulatory needs.
• Participate in compliance projects to optimise daily operations.
• Drive adoption of innovative digital tools into daily workflows.
• Collaborate in an inclusive environment while achieving departmental goals under limited supervision.
• Assist with audits using AI and automated tools and support GCP inspections.
• Provide logistical and compliance support for inspections, including scribe duties and document QC.
