Job summary

Alliance Personnel is seeking a proactive Quality Lead to oversee the quality team on site in Birmingham. You will drive quality, hygiene and housekeeping standards across the site and ensure all due diligence documents are completed accurately.

You will conduct daily inspections, lead the team, investigate issues, and perform internal audits. The role informs continuous improvement and requires strong organisational skills and HACCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience on a production or manufacturing site.
• HACCP Level 3 certification or higher is required.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Commitment to hygiene and housekeeping standards.
• Good organisational skills and time management.
• Experience with quality control processes and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily shop floor inspections and continuous improvement.
• Lead and direct the quality team to meet standards.
• Investigate quality related issues and implement corrective actions.
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance and procedures.
• Perform hygiene and housekeeping inspections across the site.
• Manage quality documentation and circulate to relevant teams.
• Escalate quality issues as needed to maintain standards.

JOB PURPOSE

To lead and drive the quality team to ensure quality, hygiene and housekeeping standards are met throughout the site and all relevant due diligence documentation is completed accurately.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

• To conduct daily shop floor inspections
• To lead and direct the quality team
• To investigate quality related issues
• To conduct internal audits
• To conduct hygiene and housekeeping inspections
• To check, issue and collect all quality related documentation to and from the quality team
• To elevate quality issues as needed.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

• Leadership experience.
• HACCP level 3 or above
• Strong observational skills.
• Strong sense of hygiene and housekeeping.
• Good organisational skills with time management.
• Experience of Quality control.

PRODUCTION SHIFT

Flexible 40 hours per week. (Typical hours are 8:30am to 5pm Monday to Friday)

SALARY

Up to £17 per hour
