Quality Inspector (Roofing and Insulation) £34,000 - £38,000 + Van and Fuel Card + Monday to Friday + Field Based + Remote
Manchester, Greater Manchester

Are you looking for a new role where you can move away from retrofit installations, whilst implementing your knowledge and gaining new skills as a Quality Inspector? This role involves travelling across a Northern patch, working remotely.

This company has operated for nearly 30 years and has grown significantly to become a leader in the roofing and insulation industry. They pride themselves on ensuring their customers in the UK receive the highest standards of insulation and roofing installation within their homes.

In this role, you will visit sites across a northern patch, collect photographs and evidence of installations, assess the quality of work, and write reports. When issues are reported, it will be your responsibility to visit homeowners, investigate any issues, and file the necessary reports. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.

A Van and fuel card will be provided to assist with travel.

This role is suitable for someone who is NVQ Level 2 qualified and looking to move off the tools while still utilizing their skillset developed throughout their career.

The Role:

• Visit sites across a northern patch to assess the quality of installations
• Follow up on complaints from homeowners and investigate potential issues
• Ensure insulation quality meets industry standards and regulations, and prepare reports
• Work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

The Person:

• Experienced in roofing or insulation fitting
• Looking to transition from hands-on work to a Quality Inspector role
