Job summary

Teledyne UK Lincoln is seeking a motivated Quality Inspector to join our Operations Team in Lincoln. The role focuses on inspecting incoming and manufactured parts to ensure they meet engineering drawings and specifications, with hands-on use of micrometers and gauges.

You will work closely with production and procurement to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prepare First Article reports. Strong attention to detail and good communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar quality inspection role.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Experience inspecting visual and mechanical quality.
• Good problem-solving and data-traceability abilities.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Experience with ISO 9001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and manufactured parts against drawings and specs.
• Use micrometers, Vernier gauges and other gauges to verify tolerances.
• Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues.
• Recommend corrective actions to uphold QA standards.
• Prepare First Article reports for parts and assemblies.
