Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Quality Inspector in Newcastle-under-Lyme. You will inspect processes, products and materials to ensure they meet quality standards, document results, and maintain gauges and equipment.

The role requires attention to detail, the ability to read drawings, and collaboration with production teams. The position offers a full-time pattern on a temporary-permanent basis with an hourly rate of £13.50, and benefits such as annual leave, eye care vouchers, pension, and staff

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret drawings and specifications of components and materials.
• Ability to measure component dimensions, test functionality and compare to specifications.
• Ability to measure and analyse material properties in accordance with company test specifications.
• Good mathematical and technical skills.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate processes, products, components and materials in accordance with company specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and contain products, components and materials that fail to meet quality expectations.
• Document inspection outcomes by recording data and completing inspection records.
• Maintain inspection gauges and equipment to the standard required for accurate quality measurement.
• Participate in internal and external audit activities as required.
• Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Prepare inspection reports and provide feedback to management.
