DC Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our prestigious engineering client based in the LE18 area of Leicester. We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to carry out final inspections of precision‑engineered parts, ensuring the highest levels of quality and compliance are maintained at all times.

Pay: £27,000 – £30,000 per year (DOE – Minimum 3 years’ experience for higher rate)

Full‑Time, Permanent | Overtime Available at Enhanced Rates

Day Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform final inspection of all batches to customer specifications, including Visual inspections
  • First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs)
  • Dimensional measurements
  • Approve and release first‑off parts from the machine shop
  • Complete all required quality assurance documentation accurately
  • Operate workshop machinery as required
  • Maintain awareness of quality standards across all business operations
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
  • Use all tools, equipment, systems, and materials responsibly and in accordance with company procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Inspector or similar engineering role
  • Strong understanding of inspection processes and quality control documentation
  • Familiarity with engineering drawings and precision measurement tools
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high‑quality work
  • Good understanding of workshop health & safety protocols
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Immediate availability is desirable
