Job description
Role Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our precision CNC machining team. The role involves inspecting CNC‑machined components (milling, turning, grinding) to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards. The position is permanent, located in Ashchurch (Tewkesbury) with a commutable commute from Worcester, Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stonehouse and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform first‑off and in‑process inspections of CNC‑machined parts.
  • Carry out first‑article and final inspections against drawings.
  • Utilise precision inspection tools (gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, microscopes, shadowgraphs, CMM).
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and complete required paperwork.
  • Identify and report non‑conformities, suggest corrective actions and follow up on resolutions.
  • Assist in the continual improvement of inspection processes and tool calibration.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Quality Inspector in a CNC machining environment.
  • Strong knowledge of dimensional inspection principles and tolerance stack‑up.
  • Proficient with a range of precision inspection equipment.
  • Experience with CMM programming is a plus but not required.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to quality.
