Quality Inspector

A modern precision engineering company located in Ashchurch, near Tewkesbury, is looking to hire a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis. This role sits within a small quality team that inspects CNC machined components (milling, turning and grinding).

Industry: precision CNC machined metal components.

What experience will you need?

• You’ll be an experienced Quality Inspector, comfortable completing first offs and in-process inspections, carrying out first article and final inspections against drawings.
• You’ll likely have more than two years’ experience as a Quality Inspector; if you have the skills in less time, we’ll welcome your application too.
• You’ll use a range of precision inspection tools to check dimensions of CNC machined components, including gauges, micrometers, vernier calipers, microscopes, shadowgraphs, and CMMs. It would be great if you have experience programming a CMM, but this isn’t essential as the team can help.
• paperwork is part of the role; you’ll be supported to understand our processes and may contribute ideas.

• Working hours: 39-hour week, day shift, lunch-time finish on Fridays; overtime often available
• Pay: £32,000 – £36,000 based on experience; terms open for discussion
• Contract type: permanent
