Role

Quality Inspector – Rugby, up to £35,000

Responsibilities
  • Inspection of components using a variety of measurement equipment and techniques such as Verniers, Calipers, Micrometers and laser scanners.
  • Check all goods inwards deliveries are appropriately packaged with the relevant inspection records/certificates of conformity where specified.
  • Completion and management of Non-conformance reports where parts don’t meet standards or specifications and liaison with both internal teams and suppliers to ensure satisfactory resolution.
  • Management and maintenance of equipment condition and calibration.
  • Carry out supplier audits to ensure ongoing quality management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience within a similar quality/inspection role.
  • Experience of measuring parts and components using manual inspection equipment such as verniers, Calipers, Micrometer, Johannsson, Pin and Digital height gauges, etc.
  • A strong understanding/ability to interpret, analyse and read engineering drawings.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Fantastic communication skills with a great attention for detail.
  • Parts/stock management experience using an ERP / MRP system essential.
Location and Salary

The role will be based from the company headquarters in Rugby, with a salary of £35,000 initially budgeted depending on experience.
