Compensation

£23.71 per hour / £48,083 per annum + overtime. Earnings of £53,000 and upwards achievable.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 19:00 to 04:00am and Fridays 14:30 to 19:30.

Holidays and Benefits

25 days + 8 bank holidays. Employee Contribution - 5%, Annual pay rise negotiated each year.

Responsibilities

You will be tasked to inspect fabricated and machined components with handheld measuring tools in a precision engineering environment.

Qualifications & Experience

• Previous experience visually and dimensionally checking machined or fabricated components with handheld measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, bore micrometers, height gauges, etc.
• Competent at reading engineering drawings.
• Competent dimensionally checking precision engineered parts against a drawing using handheld measuring tools such as verniers, micrometres, bore micrometres, height gauges, DTI (Digital Test Indicators) etc.
• Commutable from Basildon, Wickford, Rayleigh, Southend‑on‑Sea, Chelmsford and surrounding areas.
