Quality Inspector - CMM (Days)

Location: Denham

Salary: £35,000

Contract: Full-Time, Permanent

Responsibilities
  • Perform dimensional inspection of precision-engineered components using both manual measuring tools and CMMs.
  • Create, edit, and run CMM programs to verify components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and update relevant systems and databases.
  • Support Lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Ensure all work complies with health, safety, and quality procedures.
About you
  • Proven experience working in precision manufacturing or engineering inspection.
  • Proficient in the use of CMMs (programming and operation) and manual inspection tools.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Competent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP).
  • Completed an engineering apprenticeship or hold an equivalent qualification (desirable).
