A leading UK aerospace company specialising in chemical propulsion and thruster technology for space applications is seeking a Quality Inspector to join their growing quality team. The role will involve providing senior product inspection support within the quality team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting detailed visual, dimensional, and in-process inspections to verify product compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Maintaining accurate, traceable inspection records and filing reports to ensure full auditability and easy retrieval.
  • Raising non-conformance documentation and supporting defect investigations to drive continuous improvement and product integrity.
  • Monitoring manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure correct procedures are being followed throughout production.
  • Managing stock control by storing, handling, and kitting parts appropriately while ensuring accurate recording of stock transactions.
Essential skills and requirements
  • 3 years' experience in a relevant quality inspection position
  • Experience working in a quality role within space, aerospace or a similarly regulated industry
  • Understanding of AS9100 quality standards
  • Experience and knowledge of standard visual and dimensional inspection techniques
