Job Title: Quality Inspector

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 annum

Sector: Aerospace

Location: Verwood

Full Time: Monday - Friday

Quality Inspector Key Duties
  • Perform incoming inspections of machined components from sub-tier machining and subcontract treatment suppliers
  • Carry out batch inspections using a range of manual measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, height gauges)
  • Manage gauge control processes and ensure calibration of inspection and measuring equipment is maintained
Quality Inspector Experience
  • Previous experience working within a quality-focused manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally in the precision engineering sector
  • Proven ability to follow established procedures and work accurately to specifications
  • Competent in reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
  • Skilled in manual measurement and inspection of machined components
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Well-organised with good time management and prioritisation skills
