Quality Inspector — Stockton, UK

Location: Stockton, UK • Employment type: Full-time | Permanent • Salary: £36,000-£45,000

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for a new opportunity? We’re working with a well-established manufacturing business seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to join their production team. The role is key in ensuring that products are manufactured to the highest standards and comply with BS EN 9001 quality procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct random inspections during production to ensure compliance with procedures
  • Perform end-of-line inspections and document results, including photographic evidence
  • Support client visits and prepare conformance packs
  • Check compliance against engineering drawings and provide support to production teams
  • Maintain records of welder qualifications, measuring tools, and calibrations
  • Carry out internal audits and report findings
  • Inspect imported goods and galvanise quality
  • Investigate and report customer complaints
About You
  • Strong experience in quality inspection, preferably with welding and fabrication
  • Competent in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload effectively
  • Strong customer service mindset and attention to detail
  • Previous experience in internal auditing and reporting is desirable
  • Ideally 5+ years' experience in a similar quality role
