Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, is recruiting for a Quality Inspector for their site near Nuneaton. Reporting to the Chief Inspector, the role will involve undertaking CMM, visual, dimensional, and final inspections of precision aerospace parts and components.

  • Position: Quality Inspector
  • Type: Permanent
  • Salary: Dependent on experience
  • Shift: Rotating Day Shift, 6am - 6pm
  • Location: Nuneaton
Job Description
  • Performing CMM, manual, visual, and final inspections to ensure all products meet company and customer quality requirements.
  • Coordinating subcontract and despatch processes, verifying documentation, and maintaining accurate production and inspection records.
  • Evaluating products using inspection data, liaising with production and quality teams to resolve issues and support continuous improvement.
  • Supporting smooth production flow through prioritised inspections, assisting operators with quality concerns, and promoting lean manufacturing principles.
  • Developing and improving CMM inspection methods, delivering technical training, and supporting new product introduction projects.
Essential Experience / Skills / Qualifications
  • Well-versed inspecting precision components with a range of measurement tools
  • Capable of understanding engineering drawings and tolerances
  • Previous experience in a relevant role within a highly regulated industry
