Quality Inspector Engineering & Manufacturing Manchester Salary IRO £25-£26K PA

We're partnering exclusively with a long-established engineering and manufacturing organisation in Manchester that is now looking to appoint a Quality Inspector to join their precision-focused production team.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct final inspections of medical devices and sub-assemblies.
  • Manage and maintain quality control records and documentation.
  • Operate and improve complaint-handling systems, including diagnosis of faulty components and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with production, design, and quality teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
  • Evaluate and enhance inspection and testing procedures to drive improvement.
  • Monitor the performance of production and repair personnel to identify training and support needs.
  • Promote cost-effective practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.
About You
  • HNC in Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
  • IT-proficient, with working knowledge of MS Office, Sage, and database systems.
  • A methodical and collaborative approach with a genuine passion for quality.
Hours & Package
  • Hours: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm or 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: £25,000 - £26,000 per annum (depending on experience).
  • Permanent, full-time position with excellent company benefits.
