Job summary

Industrialconnected in Newcastle-under-Lyme is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join our precision engineering team. You will program and operate CMMs, inspect high-spec parts, and support quality systems in a hands-on role.

The ideal candidate will have strong PC-DMIS, CMM experience, GD&T knowledge, and a disciplined approach to quality documentation within a metalworking environment.

Qualifications

• Strong PC-DMIS programming and CMM inspection experience.
• Background in precision engineering, machining or advanced manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience using manual precision measuring equipment.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

Responsibilities

• Program and operate CMM equipment using PC-DMIS.
• Inspect precision machined components against drawings and CAD data.
• Perform first-off, in-process and final inspection.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Support QMS, non-conformance investigations and corrective actions.
• Contribute to process improvement and CI initiatives.

You will perform hands-on inspection, maintain and improve quality standards, and support production and engineering teams.
