Job description
Overview

Quality Inspector – Permanent day shift with 12-hour shifts, working a total of 12 days every 4 weeks. You will have a lot of spare time on this system, working only 1 weekend during this period. Work within a modern business investing in new machinery and growing rapidly.

Salary: £28,652 - £33,276 depending on experience. 25 days holiday + banks.

Responsibilities
  • Using calibration equipment (such as verniers, micrometers, etc.) to inspect precision machined components.
  • Learning/operating a CMM; training can be provided for those looking to develop more CMM experience.
  • Other quality inspection duties such as compiling FAIRs, etc.
  • Working alongside the wider quality and production team to ensure deadlines are achieved to required standards.
Skills & Experience
  • Ideally a proven Quality Inspector from an engineering background. Aerospace/Precision engineering experience would be advantageous due to the tight tolerances required.
  • Capable of using some measuring tools and open to learning wider equipment, such as a CMM.
  • A formal engineering qualification would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Enthusiastic and team-driven character.
