Duration: 8 - 12 weeks temporary contract

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm with some slight flexibility on start and finish times

Salary: up to £17 per hour depending on experience

You'll play a key role in ensuring that all incoming machined metal parts meet exacting quality standards. Full, hands‑on training will be provided on the use of a handheld 3D scanning tool.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect incoming machined metal parts using handheld 3D scanning equipment (training provided)
  • Generate and analyse detailed metrology reports to confirm compliance with specifications
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing and engineering teams to prioritise inspections and provide clear, actionable feedback
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and material transactions within the ERP system
Requirements
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced production environment
  • Confident communicator who can liaise effectively across multiple departments
  • (Preferred but not essential) Previous experience in a quality control, inspection, or manufacturing role
